Introducing Slate Signals: intelligence on every business, in your AI
Ask Claude or ChatGPT how a business is really doing. Slate reads it the way an underwriter does, and the answer comes back in the chat.
Slate Signals
Intelligence on every business, in your AI.
How are our merchants doing?
Slipping, in your top 100

Every platform we talk to has the same dashboards. They show what every shop sold. They do not show who is about to run out of cash. You find that out when a shop cancels.
That gap is the thing we have been working on from the other side. To fund a business you have to know how it is really doing, so reading businesses is the job Slate already does. Slate Signals takes that read and puts it where the work now happens: in Claude and ChatGPT.
What it is
Connect Slate to Claude or ChatGPT, like any other app, and ask in plain words. "How are our merchants doing?" "Who is slipping?" "How is my business really doing?"
Slate reads the numbers the way an underwriter would and answers with what matters: whether a business is growing, steady or slipping, how long its cash lasts, and whether it needs capital, when and for what. You get one straight answer and the evidence behind it, not a dashboard to decode.
Every business you serve, one at a time
Take Maya, who runs product at a point of sale platform. She asks Claude how her merchants are doing. Slate reads all 1,000 of them. Most are fine. But 23 of her top 100 are slipping, $410,000 a year of her revenue is at risk, and her dashboards have not noticed, because a total can look healthy while the businesses inside it are not.
Then she asks who needs help first, and gets a name, a reason and a number.
Maya is fictional. The problem is not. Any team with a few thousand customers has the data to see this, and nobody has the hours to read it one business at a time. Now something does.
And then you can do something about it
Knowing who is slipping is only worth something if you can act on it.
If you run Slate Capital, in the US and Canada, one click sends a merchant a link and they draw funds right there, under your own brand. Slate funds it itself, carries the risk and collects, and you earn on every advance. A business that gets through a tight month stays on your platform.
The same read works in the other direction too. It knows who is growing and can afford more, so your next plan goes to the right customers.
Why in the chat
Slate has always been embedded where businesses do their work. Platforms are not going anywhere. But more and more of the people running them are connecting their tools to Claude and ChatGPT, because that is where the context of all those tools lives. So that is where Slate is going too.
It also means Signals does not have to wait to be asked. Set it up once in Claude Duet, or as a scheduled task in Claude or ChatGPT, and it checks your customers every morning. You hear about a change the day it happens, not at the next quarterly review.
What happens to the numbers
They are encrypted in transit and at rest, access is scoped and logged, and they are never sold or shared with anyone else. Slate contacts a business only when you send it.
Where to start
